The Transportation Services Manager and is here to assist you with the reservation, check-out, return, and billing process.
The CPO Transportation and Fleet Services Program is designed to be a resource for student groups and projects working in the areas of community service and social justice in the Los Angeles and Southern California region.
Our fleet also supports UCLA campus services that make it easier for students to pursue their academic endeavors including basic needs and commuter support programs.
Transportation Services for Community Service Projects
The Community Programs Office owns and operates a fleet of over 20 vehicles made available to undergraduate student groups that provide outreach, retention, and community service. In comparison to rental entities on campus, CPO provides vehicles at a reduced rate in order to encourage student involvement in providing direct services to historically marginalized communities.
Study Hall and Commuter Van Service
The Community Programs Office offers the evening Study Hall and Commuter Van Service, which is designed to provide safe rides home for students who choose to study late on campus.
Basic Needs Support and the Grocery Shuttle Program
The CPO has launched the Grocery Shuttle program to provide food insecure students with free transportation to local grocery stores, farmer’s markets, and food banks. Transportation Services is a fast growing area of this department and continues to support innovative basic needs programs and other services and provides employment opportunities for students.
