The CPO Departmental Student Internship Program offers students—especially first-year and first-year transfer students—an opportunity to explore current events while developing valuable professional skills. Topics such as basic needs, food access, and academic success are explored through discussion, research, and presentations. Interns are encouraged to draw from both their academic knowledge and personal experiences to engage with these issues and create meaningful impact. In addition to the educational component of the program, interns will contribute to the daily operations and core priorities of the department’s five key areas.
