The Collective was developed by students in collaboration with the Community Programs Office (CPO) to support student leadership, personal development, and holistic well-being. It offers a welcoming environment where students participate in workshops, discussions, and social events designed to foster self-awareness, resilience, and life skills.

Participants explore a wide range of topics including healthy relationships, physical wellness, mindfulness, stress management, and career goal setting. In addition to these focus areas, the Collective also incorporates non-academic skill-building such as cooking, car maintenance, and creative expression through the arts.

Throughout the academic year, the Collective hosts regular workshops and social activities that encourage peer connection, personal reflection, and the development of practical life skills. A central feature of the program is the annual leadership retreat held during winter quarter, where students engage in collaborative learning, wellness practices, and community-building experiences that support long-term growth and success.
