The Computer Lab and Exam Database services are additional resources that assist students with their academic success.

The CPO Computer Lab was established by student leaders Antonio Sandoval Ayala and Melanie Pascual in 2001 when the CPO moved temporarily to Kerckhoff Hall during renovations to create the Student Activities Center.

The CPO Computer Lab is available for use to all UCLA students with no charge. Each student is allotted 150 duplicate prints (75 sheets) per quarter with a maximum of 100 pages (50 sheets) per job. The CPO Computer Lab is one of few free printing resources on campus.

During study hall nights, students who use the computer lab for at least one hour of study can get a free ride home if they live in the residence halls, Westwood, Brentwood, South of Wilshire, and Palms. For students who need to travel further, please check out our commuter van ride program and its requirements for sign-up and participation.

The Exam Database was established in the early 1990s as a resource to ensure equitable access for all students. Prior to its creation, similar resources were only available through exclusive, member-only organizations. In 2009, student leaders Layhannara Tep and Layhearn Tep collaborated with the Community Programs Office to digitize the database, making it more accessible. In 2016, student leader Denise Marshall worked with the department to transition from kiosks to the modern iPad system that is in place today. Since 2019, this system has provided students with a quick and efficient service, further enhancing access and convenience.

The Exam Database is a resource that allows students to access previously administered midterms, finals, and papers from various courses. Each appointment allows students to access a maximum of 5 exams or other course materials within a 5-minute session. These resources are designed to assist students with studying for their courses.

To access the database, students must submit a previously administered exam, essay, or graded course material to receive a test bank sticker, which grants access each quarter. Appointments can be made by visiting the CPO front desk in the Student Activities Center Suite 105 with a BruinCard.
