Angela currently serves at the Business Officer overseeing all day-to-day operations of the business office including human resources and payroll, purchasing, and transportation matters. She works on long-range strategic planning on all budgetary and financial matters of the department. She is also the advisor to the Student Risk Education Committee, which oversees the allocation of PLEDGE/Risk Management Referendum funds.
Angela, originally from Manhattan Beach, Calif., received her Associate of Arts degree in Political Science from El Camino Community College in 2004 and completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Development Studies from UCLA in 2006.
Prior to arriving to the UCLA staff, Angela was a sales associate at both Origins and Coach; and a front desk agent and sales assistant at the Manhattan Beach Marriott. Upon arriving at UCLA, Angela was hired at UCLA’s Center for Research on Evaluation, Standards, and Student Testing, which is housed in the Graduate School of Education and Information Studies (GSEIS), where she was responsible for various roles including Administrative Support Supervisor, Purchasing and Human Resources Coordinator, and most recently as Fund Manager.
She is the proud mother of two daughters, Antonia and Gabriella.
