The Community Programs Office hosts and honors speakers at our programs who support our mission in inspiring students to action by shedding light on key issues important to education, economic equity, and social justice. These speakers play an integral part in shaping the conversation around critical issues impacting our nation and our world.

Our goal is to expose our students and campus community to inspiring and innovative ideas from influential leaders of diverse backgrounds. Guest speakers hosted in the past include elected officials, academic leaders, community organizers, social activists, and athletes. They have been featured prominently as change makers in their community.
